If It's Not Then The Medical Definition Dictionary People Must Be Stupid.

A form of psychosis marked by a strong tendency to dissociate oneself from reality. Schizophrenia is often characterized by hallucinations, delusions, and inappropriate reactions to situations. The word schizophrenia is often used informally as well as scientifically to indicate a split personality.

All of them things do in fact lead to 'Split Personality' One Way Or Another.
The Things That They Face Force Them To React Differently To Situations. Maybe Sometimes They Might React Normally Or Sometimes Irrationally.
I Guess It Depends Upon The State Of Their Frame Of Mind.
I'm Sorry, I'm No Expert On Illnesses.
I Used Dictionary Cross References And Wanted To Make The Definitions As Small And Simple As Possible For People To Understand.
